The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) of Nepal, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO), conducted a tabletop exercise (TTX) to test the disaster preparedness and response plans of selected hub and Satellite hospitals network of Province Hospital Surkhet karnali Province. The exercise simulated a mass casualty scenario triggered by a devastating earthquake, to assess hospital readiness in managing large-scale emergencies. Facilitators of NSEDRM participated in this program.
